HOTEL CARLTON, Bilbao – A Smart Stay in the City

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was large, clean, and had a nice balcony with a view, although it was a bit noisy due to street traffic. The service was friendly and helpful overall, although there was a minor issue with staff entering the room without clear identification. The location was perfect for exploring Bilbao, right in the center with easy access to many attractions. The dining experience offered a good variety, but the quality of coffee and English Breakfast tea fell short. The facilities were well-maintained, and the overall value for money was decent.

The service at the reception desk stood out for being extremely helpful and courteous compared to other 5-star experiences we've had. The location was exceptional, being central and very close to the airport bus we needed for our early start the next morning, with a vibrant area full of shops and restaurants. The dining experience, while having a lot of choice, had few options that were fresh. Overall, the hotel offered a balance of comfort and inconveniences.
